If someone were to ask me what my perfect Saturday afternoon would be (with endless money of course),  I would have to say checking out the scene East would be it. Spitalfields market, Brick lane market,  concept stores, book shops  & bars and cafes to finish off the night would be the one!

SUMMER OH SUMMER

 Quick round-up of the summer I got to enjoy, before it all turned sour and I became a working girl. It literally consisted of eating, drinking, shopping & more eating as per. One day however, I finally got to go to a RoofTopCinema Club event at The Queen of Hoxton to watch Grease 2. It was pretty cool & we were lucky enough to get a warm summer evening with rooftop lights and a beautiful sky to keep it the film well lit. 

It was such as good night! So much fun and liveliness in a movie where everyone wears headphones. Lots of out of tune singing & eating sweet popcorn under a blankie shared between two. Cute no?

Day one at FACTORY311, a Soho based photography agency with the amazing Nick Hardy as founder and photographer of the company. Having now finished my time there, I have got to say, it was an absolute pleasure being there for the short time that I was. What at grand start to working life!! Met some pretty cool people in the creative world and learnt a lot to set me on my way before landing my current job at My Flash Trash.

Great manager, great atmosphere & amazing company to work with! So cheers for that!

It has been a crazy crazy time! I've just started my new job at Made In Chelsea star, Amber Atherton's online jewellery boutique - MyFlashTrash as a Social Media & Digital Manager.. Check that bad ass title! In short this basically involves all thing social & digital. Blogging, newsletters, digital marketing and controlling all social media sites. It's tougher than it sounds, believe me, but I wont bore you with the number stuff.

The start of a new week. New deadlines, new innovations &  one step closer to the big September events. London Fashion Week is so near & now being in the industry it will be a completely new angle that I see. I can no longer sit at home with a cup of tea in my jimmies endlessly watching shows. It's all about the push, shove, late nights & networking.

So, let me introduce to to Weekday, if you are not currently aware of this pretty super online store. I felt it was time to start creating these regular round-ups of my Weekday needs; my wish-list was pretty much over-flowing. So being a city girl / working woman 'fish', I really do need to start formalising my work wardrobe, I just can't bare to let go of my cosy & oversized simples.
