MOSCHINO AT LC:M

A little update from my last few weeks at Moschino - So, in the run up to LC:M it was crazy busy preparing for the show on Monday 16th sorting out seating arrangements, invitations,  model castings, backstage prep & the all important 'Frow' made up by the likes of Lindsey Lohan, Pixie Lott, Labrinth, Mary Charteris, Daisy Lowe, Saul Milton my very own favourite Kelly Cutrone.

The show its self I could only described as insane, even more so having assisted with all the planning and prep behind each element involved. Each model and look was so distinct and unique in its own way, that the simplicity of the set and production made complete sense.

After spending endless days and nights working up to show day and then to see its success, it was only fair to make the most of the after party joint with I-D Magazine at London club, Cafe de Paris and welcoming even more amazing guests such as Nick Grimshaw, Paloma Faith, ASAP Rocky and social girl BipLing

I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people both from the Moschino Milan and New York offices in addition to the London team and of course not forgetting Mr Jeremy Scott. Following from the show, I will now be in and out of the London office working odd days and possibly just coming in to distract the team, which I have grown to love so so much.

What an amazing experience.

GAME FACE

I never realised that the month of May would bring about as many changes as it has, and luckily for me I've managed to get a few exciting projects to keep me busy. Aside from the planning of shoots and outfit posts for DOSEMEDAILY, I am currently helping the wonderful people at Moschino as they get ready for London Collection: Mens this June and are in the midst of buying season. My role in all this right now is managing the London based studio in Conduit street to then getting all over the preparations for LCM including looks, press releases, castings (can't complain) and working the actual event, which will be very exciting.

I have also managed to get my head stuck into a sideline project; TOTW London. A London based street wear brand that is looking to grow big, fast. TOTW (Top of the world) London was established last year by two super creative guys looking to combine style, comfort and simplicity all under one killer name. If you haven't already then check them out for laid-back tees and the best of British quality in my sig colours of course. The new Summer 14 collection will drop later this June, but for now here are a few of my favourite pieces from the brands current collection.

TAKE ONE

As promised pretty much over five months ago now, we have finally pulled off an outfit post on the streets of London, with a look that basically sums up the weather - just con-fused! Thick wool pants, exclusively by Bill&Mar, which are just too comfy to remove (will be seeing these a lot), hence they are worn in the middle of May.. paired with my slightly creased, but beautifully tailored shirt by Zara's Trafuluc line. Enough of my talk - it's all about the power of imagery now. DoseMeDaily's first outfit post ,photographed by TOTW London's finest, and mega creative Mr HV, is here!

Please excuse the minor gliches i.e. minimal (if any) post production & my purple lips.

COS X Nendo

Ok, so I may have been slightly off the mark (or just simply lazy) getting this post up well in advance, but this collaboration between COS & Japanese studio Nendo has got to be one of my favourites of 2014 so far! I just wish the collection was bigger and more apparel-heavy. Nevertheless the collection at its full with a mixture of home ware and jewellery, is complete with innovation, style, minimalism and comfort, giving viewers that " ! " moment Nendo intends on wowing its consumers with. Oki Sato was the founder of Nendo in Tokyo, 2002. Since then, it has become one of the most well-known and desired design studios, globally. The name Nendo is Japanese for modelling clay, which is protrayed in the studio’s playful, yet rational approach to design.

FASHION IS ARCHITECTURE

Sui He for Glass magazine; a shoot-full of thick textures and dulled down hues of grey and purple, to give the shoot a very bold and distinctive look. It has been heavily styled and directed to make the most of the #15 ranking of female models, that is Sui He.
